Caribbean Utilities Company Manager of Regulatory and Sustainability
Allison Hydes is Manager of Regulatory and Sustainability, at Caribbean Utilities Company, Ltd. ("CUC"). She oversees regulatory engagement and leads the development of sustainability programs that enhance operational performance and accountability. By driving the company’s sustainability strategy and regulatory initiatives, she supports organizational growth and long-term success through strategic leadership and analytical insight.
Allison returned to CUC in August 2024 to join its Sustainable Finance division, where she spearheaded the 2025 Sustainability Update Report and the inaugural Green Finance Report, detailing the allocation of US $50 million in Green Notes to clean transportation, energy efficiency, and climate adaptation projects. She also led efforts to secure limited assurances on CUC’s Scope 1 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, and the allocation of Green Notes proceeds, reinforcing transparency and credibility in sustainability reporting.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Cum Laude with Honors Distinction) from the University of Tampa and brings over a decade of experience across diverse industries and jurisdictions in accounting, financial reporting, and operations, including more than five years in the utility sector.
Beyond her professional work, Allison is an avid adventure traveler, scuba and free diver, and enjoys backyard farming.
