The Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) is proud to announce the launch of the CIIPA Code of Ethics (the Code), a significant milestone aimed at reinforcing the highest standards of ethical conduct amongst its members. The Code was adopted and became effective 21 November, 2024 and reflects CIIPA’s unwavering commitment to public trust, professional excellence and the enhancement of Cayman’s globally respected financial services regime.

The Code is based on the International Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants (including International Independence Standards) established by the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) with tailored and additional provisions included by CIIPA for areas unique to the regulatory and cultural context of the Cayman Islands.
