The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority on Monday (17 April) issued notices on several regulatory measures aimed at clarifying requirements and assisting entities with compliance.

Rule and Statement of Guidance - Internal Controls for Regulated Entities

• Rule and SOG — Internal Controls Regulated Entities 

• Consultation and Feedback Statement

The Rule and Statement of Guidance Internal Controls for Regulated Entities will come into effect within six months of the date that it is published in the Gazette, after which it will be published to the Authority’s website.

The Rule on Corporate Governance for Regulated Entities and Statement of Guidance for Corporate Governance – Mutual Funds and Private Funds, will come into effect within six months of the date that it is published in the Gazette, after which it will be published to the Authority’s website.
