A strong, vibrant accountancy profession is essential for advancing economic stability, strengthening financial systems, and promoting accountability, as well as fostering long-term sustainability and growth.
The Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) is empowered by the Accountants Law (2020 Revision) and the associated regulations. CIIPA is responsible for licensing public accountants, registering accounting firms, monitoring quality assurance, monitoring adherence to international education standards (CPD), as well as supervising the profession for AML/CFT purposes.
