Overview: This Financial Controllers Update course has been specifically developed to address recent developments in international and U.S. accounting standards, the controller's environment, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and ethics.
This course will be held online via Zoom from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, 18-19 Nov.
Learning Objectives - To bring users and preparers of financial statements up-to-date with recent developments., including:
- Overview of recent IFRS and US GAAP developments including current exposure drafts, topics in the pipeline and standards effective for periods beginning on or after 1 January, 2024
- ESG - an overview of the reporting frameworks, how they could impact you and helpful tools
- Ethics for accountants
