John Watson
Head of Cyber Crime Investigation, Royal Cayman Islands Police Service
John is the Head of Cyber Crime Investigation for the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service, with day to day responsibility for the operation of the digital forensic unit since 2021. - John has had a long career in law enforcement in the Police Service and the National Crime Agency and is an accredited Senior Investigative Officer.
- Prior to joining RCIPS, John specialised in cyber investigation initially with the National Cyber Crime Unit and later the National Cyber Security Centre at GCHQ.
- AS the law enforcement liaison officer in NCSC, John was involved in the investigation of almost every serious cyber attack in the UK from 2017 to 2021.
